What is how to open bottle without bottle opener?

Here are some methods for opening a bottle without a bottle opener:

  • Using a lighter: Grip the neck of the bottle firmly. Position the edge of the lighter cap under the lip of the bottle cap. Use your thumb as a fulcrum and quickly lever the lighter upwards. Repeat around the cap until it loosens. More info can be found here: Using a lighter.

  • Using a doorframe: Place one edge of the bottle cap under the metal strike plate (where the door latch goes) of a doorframe. Hold the bottle firmly and push down on the bottle until a portion of the bottle cap is bent upward. Rotate and repeat until you can pry the cap off. See more here: Using a doorframe.

  • Using another bottle: Turn one bottle upside down. Position the edge of the inverted bottle's cap under the lip of the cap you want to remove. Use the inverted bottle as a lever to pry the cap off the other bottle. More details here: Using another bottle.

  • Using a spoon: Place the edge of a sturdy spoon under the lip of the bottle cap. Lever the spoon upwards, using your hand as a fulcrum. Work your way around the bottle cap until it is loose enough to remove. Detailed information can be found here: Using a spoon.

  • Using a belt buckle: Position the bottle cap against the prong or edge of the belt buckle. Use the buckle as a lever to pry the cap off. Instructions available here: Using a belt buckle.

  • Using scissors: Be extremely careful. Open the scissors slightly and position the edge of the blade under the bottle cap. Lever upwards. Scissors are sharp so proceed with caution. Details available here: Using scissors.
